Shows/films which tend to provide a good basis for mods are things like trek(there is already a mod), babylon 5, star wars, stargate, battlestar galactica etc where there are already known races with different fleets/ships with different abilities etc that are already part of the canon of their particular shows to help base the mods on.įor instance, the timelords in essesnce were peaceful till the darleks attacked them.

Cybermen, Ice Warriors, Sontarans, Zygons, Judoon, Slitheen, Autons, and the rest should be able to fight each other pretty well, though.Įxactly, I am not sure dr who is a viable show to base a mod on (given the above reasons, though I should point out I am a whovian, I love the show) Timelords and Daleks outgun everything else by a ridiculous amount. There's also the issue of race balancing. Timelords, we haven't even seen a Battle TARDIS, so they're probably not a faction to even consider. Originally posted by I am Doot.:The problem is that there are so few Doctor Who ships shown per faction.Īll we've seen in the show (for the Daleks) are two or three types of saucers, dalek fighter pods, and Daleks themselves.Ĭybermen are one or two ship types, and a fighter.
